*the scout smirks and waits a bit longer*

Liana: *nods* Alright... Should I dig around too?

John looks around, sighing.
"(Well, if they are going to be using their powers, might as well use mine.)"
In that instant, all the noise in the area stops as John calmly walks forward into the now frozen jungle

*the scout frowns in their own time at the silence* shit

Kelly is sent out to look around and talk to the ghosts to get some information about the missing person.

*several ghosts roam the streets*

Liana: *goes to the girls neighborhood without telling anyone*

Talos: *steal ALL THE THINGSSSS*

Bryn: *LEARN ALLL THE FIGHTING STYLES*

Elena: *daydreaming*

Lyska: *spy spy spy*

Chrono Scout: *his eyes widen* Well then.... *he calls out* I believe you're lookin' for us?

John stops.
"Yes?"

Kelly moves closer to the house of the missing person, asking a ghost nearby if she has seen the missing person, giving a picture as reference.

*one of the ghosts nods* She saw what even the gifted don't see

Scout: And why's that?

Kelly raises and eyebrow from her bespeckticaled, or in this case, beshaded face.
"And what exactly is that?"

John: "I want purpose."

Ghost: A truth shrouded for centuries. The Four become Five with the stolen key that unlocks the path of equality. *the ghost's eyes become more solemn* You have a gift, child. More than one

Scout: *raises an eyebrow* We can offer ya a job and a title, but every man finds 'ere own path *he gestures for John to follow*

John: That is enough for me.

Scout: *walks in regular time as to lessen the other scout's concern. He leads John to the entrance* It's a fair warning. If you mean harm to the guild or betray trust, you're a dead man.

John: "I already know this."

Scout: *shrugs* I gotta say it anyway... What's your name?

John: "John Titor."

*the scout nods* Good name... Come this way *he heads into the cave*

John moves with the scout, hoping that he is being led correctly.

Scout: *leads Chronodude to the theives, makes sure his intent is good, and gets him his first task of spying on the greedy shopkeeper near the produce stall*

John accepts this very hard challenge that truly would be a difficult task for anyone.

Logi starts getting bored with the routine of doing the same thing everyday and begins to get restless.

Edward discusses Kai working in the ship for awhile.

((Good to be back! I won't be able to get on the forum much though. I'll still GM my RPs and mod when I can, but my schedule is gonna get hectic))

Kailani: *seems wary but will think about it*

Lyska: *walking down the street, sees the produce stand where Logi is working. Realizing her pockets are empty, she frowns* "(Damn I'm starving. I can leave something here later)"

Talos: *walking a distance behind her, not paying attention*

Lyska: *walks towards the stand casually, making herself seem to fade from everyone's view*

Elena: *tires of working waiting tables, though she has greatly improved her hand dodging skills*

Edward grins widely when Kailani is accepted onto the crew.
"(Finally! I may get off this ship sooner then I thought!)"
He tells Kailani the good news about what the captain said in a highly excited manner over the job opportunity.

Logi waits by the stand, taking a bit of a break from the work. If he were back city, he may have been flicking a fire on and off from his thumb in a manner that would suggest boredom, unfortunately for him, he hasn't been able to use his powers in a long time and has started having a bit of pent up aggression over not exerting the constant energy he is building. He sighs and makes a note to buy something burnable when he goes back to the Inn where Elena works. He also makes a note to ask her why they are just standing around when they were supposed to be cracking some sort of conspiracy or whatever. He can't quite remember what was going on then, all he knows is that he was insane from the beginning of that idea to the end of it, and he should have stayed back at the city where he could let his precious fire be free from it's captivity inside of him. A quick shake of the head clears up his thoughts a bit and keeps him focused on the matter at hand: watching the shop. He looks up from his thoughts to continue to watch what is going on around him.

Kelly has continued with her investigations, questioning all sorts of the dead and supernatural elements that she could find about the mysterious disappearance of Elena. Through this manner of questioning she has eventually discovered that Elena has most likely fled to the port city of Tortuga. Wary of this, she returns to the police station and slips an envelope containing the information to Felix who shares it with his trainee.

John takes the assignment and begins immediately, crossing the forest in a matter of seconds to find the person of interest.

Liana?: *takes a deep breath* Shit

Kailani: *fear mixes with excitement as she grins, stomach whirling at the thought of facing the unknown. Her face glows* I-I can't believe it!

Lyska: *is hidden beside the stall, her mind slips as she reaches for a fruit, she turns her head back to Talos and in an absentminded moment, knocks the fruit off the table. Still hidden, she freezes in place as it falls to the ground. She scans the thick crowd and stacked boxes for a quick getaway, to no avail.*

Assignment: The shopkeepers house is beside his shop, where he sells various valuables at ridiculous prices, cheating collectors and travelers out of their money.

Elena: *feels anxious*

Felix looks appalled by the curse used by Liana.
"Now there! No need to use such fowl language! It'll be easy to get her back now that we know where she is! Sure it's full of criminals and thieves, but I'm sure we can retrieve her."

Edward keeps his grins strong.
"Me either! We'll get a ship in no time!"

logi turns to the fruit, instinctively wanting to hurl a fireball towards the disturbance in a primitive defense. Stopping himself, he walks over to the problem, and takes the fruit and puts it up.
"Now to find the kin who did this..."

John stays by the shopkeepers house, watching the shop keeper in an anger for those who were cheated by him.
