Gifts and Curses

Logi: "I hardly know if your trustworthy. Why should I do come here?"

Talos: *shrugs* You already have no choice. You have to trust me to keep your secret. And as for coming here again.... What have you got to lose?

Logi thinks about for a second before responding.
"Alright then."

Talos: *nods* You can bring the girl. She can't hide her ability forever either. *Talos turns to go*

Lyska: *pouting*

Elena: *becoming weak with stress, lack of sleep, work, and her power itching to get out*

Logi goes back to the inn immediately, wanting to talk to Elena.

Elena: *looks visibly tired and worn, she rushes from table to table, dodging hands expertly*

Talos: *walks with the pouting Lyska* He did catch you

Lyska: I know okay!

Talos: *remains calm and speaks matter of factly* You didn't use your ability

Lyska: *huffs* I know...

Talos: Why?

Lyska: *thinks for a moment* I've never had to use my powers to keep from being caught *she admits after several moments*

Talos: *nods*

Logo enters the building, motioning to Elena that something urgent has happened.

Elena: *buzzes over, out of breath* Yes? *her eyes light up at the sight of him*

Kailani: When does the ship leave?

Edward: "Tomorrow morning."

Logi: "I found a guy from the boat who might have a job for us. A better job."

Kailani: *nods* Alright... Alright! *she perks up, becoming excited*

((Fun fact: The other day I realized that my Lanikai ukulele has the same syllables as Kailani.... Her name is Lula))

Elena: I'll take it! *she huffs* I mean, do you think it's good?

Logi shrugs.
"Better than what we've been doing."

Edward: "Alright! So do you want to go back to your house or would you like to get yourself a room on the ship now?"

Elena: Then count me in *she smiles up at him*

Kailani: What do you recommend?

Edward shrugs.
"It really depends on if you want some extra time to pack or whatever. But if you don't, then here would be the best option."

*evening comes*

Talos: *with Lyska on the roof*

(( The ship. ))
Logi is close to the roof with Elena.
"Now we just go up to the roof and meet them here."

Elena: *nods, a bit nervous*

Talos: *still there*

Kailaini: Hmm, maybe we can swing by my place for just a moment...

Edward: "Alright! Let's go then!"

Logi climbs up onto the roof, looking to Talos and Lyska

Kailani: *they go to her place*

Elena: *nervous*

Talos: *grins* Hey sparky *he looks to Logi* Fair warning, if you betray any of what I'm about to show you, there's no where that you could hope to hide *he turns nonchalantly and motions for them to follow him*

Logi shrugs and keeps walking with Talos.;
"I kind of figured."

Talos: *hides the group from anyone's sight/detection, they reach the edge of the city where the jungle reigns freely. He turns to Logi* So, your kin?

Logi looks to Elena.
"Uh..."

Logi nudges Elena, looking at her worriedly, wondering if he should say.

Elena: *looks up at him and shrugs* He knows what I am...

Logi lookd back to them.
"Pyrokin."

Talos: *nods, a hint of a smirk* Great

Elena: *still nervous, but it could't really get worse*
