Gifts and Curses

Kate breathes a sigh of relief as she sighs the papers.

Kate is registered and Lief walks out with her.
"Well that was easy...."

Sylk is watching them from the trees.

Kate nods. "Yeah, easier than I thought. But I don't know what I should do now."

Sylk climbs a tree and sits, smirking while watching her.

Lief looks up to the sky.
"We could probably try enrolling you into a class later."

Aña: *sleeping under a bush since it is evening*

Kate frowns. "Maybe later. I think I should find a place to stay for the night."

Lief shrugs.
"I guess so. If you want, You could stay at my place. Or I could find you someplace."

Sylk jumps down in front of her. "You could stay with me." He crosses his arms, a smirk on his face, and his body tilted a little.

Lief narrows his eyes at the man.
"You were at the bar.... Weren't you."

His eyebrows furrow. "What man at the bar?"

Lief: "I never get things wrong, (too lucky for that...), you were the guy at the bar who was walking towards us when we were leaving, right before you fell."
He snickers at the memory of him falling.

Kate tilts her head. "Yes I remember it too."

Lief: "And now you dropped from the tree above to try to get her to stay with you? Have you been following us?"

"It's called I go here. Coincidence, my dear." He smiles wryly.

Lief: "but why would you randomly ask someone to stay the night with you when you haven't done anything besides possibly stalk them?"

Kate raises and eyebrow. "Sure...coincidence."

He looks to Leif. "Kindness, love. Kindness."

Lief raises his eyebrow.
"I have more of a feeling that you have.... Ulterior motives.... People don't just drop out of a tree to have others stay with them."

Kate turns to Lief. "Maybe I could stay at a hotel or something."

Lief looks to her and nods.
"Sounds good... Make sure to keep the locks on though...."
He glares at Sylk while speaking.

Kate nods. "I will." She walks away from Sylk.

Lief follows her, watching Sylk as he does.

Aña: *would probably laugh about the occurrence but she is asleep and not in the area they are in*
