Lief grins.
"I might be able to help with that! Thing is, people most likely won't hate you (as much) now! Plus, you probably will gain more money from tasks, ect. It's sort of a long term effects kind of thing. But if you would rather just reap the benefits now, I guess I could give you some money and go."

Kate thinks for a few minutes. "I don't know, you may be able to help me, you may not." She stands up. "First I want to see how really lucky you are. C'mon." She motions for him to follow her.

Elena: *returns to class, looking like she's just seen a ghost*

Talos: *sleeping*

Bryn: *sleeping*

Liana: I must be seeing things...

Lief follows her.

Kelly: *sleeping*

Felix: *passes by the bar and goes home*

John turns back around and walks past Liana again, vanishing once more.

Ieyla wanders around the city, looking for something to do.

Kate leads Lief to a bar, the same one Sylk is in. She points to a corner of the room. "They're playing some sort of game over there. I've never played before, but I want you to. If you win three times in a row then I'll believe that you really are as lucky as you say. Also..." She takes off her hoody. "If your luck rubs off on me, no one should notice my mark." She is wearing a sleeveless, blue top that snugly fits her slim figure.

Sylk spots her across the room and grins.

Liana: What the-? *she spins around, blinking*

Lief nods.
"Alright. Stay with me though, it's quite sketchy around here."
Lief walks over to the game, which he hasn't played either, and joins in. After a couple of minutes of talking Lief wins the first round. As well as the second and third. He plays one more round, which he obviously wins, before excusing himself from the game.

Kate watches in amazement. "Wow! I guess you were telling the truth. And no one has noticed my mark. It seems you can help me." She notices Sylk watching her. "Why don't we go back to the park."

Lief looks at Sylk then back to Kate.
"Sounds good to me."

Kate heads for the door.

Lief follows closely behind her, stuffing his awarded cash into his pocket.

Sylk starts to make his way over to Kate, through the bodies in between them.

Suddenly Sylk slips on a pool of spilled booze beneath his foot, causing him to fall to the ground before he is able to make it to Kate and Lief, who have just left.

Kate looks over her should and sees Sylk on the floor. She smiles, amused at the sight, but the smile looks seductive.

Lief exits the building with Kate and instinctively starts walking towards the park.

Kate follows. "So...I'd like to become a citizen here and be respected. Maybe get to go to school or something. Can you do that?"

Lief: "Yeah, probably."
Lief turns slightly, veering onto a new sidewalk.

Kate smiles softly. "Thank you."

Lief stops at a citizenship registration area.
"Want to start now?"

Zane: *walking around the university*

Sylk slams his fist into the ground and growls. "So close..."

Kate hesitates. "Um... sure." She has a worried expression on her face and has a strong urge to put her hoody back on. She resists and walks in.

The registration goes quite well, they hardly go over any fact about the mark, if at all.
