Gifts and Curses

Edward looks down to the floor, frowning ever so slightly.
"That's true..."

Kailani: *cocks her head to the side* Sumfin wrong?

Edward: "Huh?"
He looks to Kailani.
"Uh, no... Not really..."

Kailani: Alright then... And to answer your question, I just ain't had the best of luck in 'at area *she frowns*

Edward nods.
"You aren't the only one with that problem here..."

Kailani: *looks at him* You got a story?

Edward looks over to her.
"Nah... Not really."

Kailani: *half frowns* Aight then... *she looks back in front of her*

Edward: "(Maybe I should stop... I'll probably just end up making things worse for her anyways...)"

Kailani: *takes a deep breath and smiles in the cool evening air*

Edward turns around, looking over to the sea.

*a few minutes pass*

Edward: "It's.... Getting a bit late.... I think I'm going to retire."
Edward pushes off of the side and starts walking away.
"See ya tomorrow or something..."

Kailani: *looks a bit disappointed* Well, alright... *she half frowns*

Edward goes downstairs to his his room, lying down and staring at the ceiling.

Elena: *gazes at the calm sea*

Logi stands next to her, watching the water gently move by the boat.

Elena: *seems at peace with the calm waters*

Logi looks around to the deck, seeing the undead and Kailani. He looks back to Elena, smiling.

Kailani: *stares at the water, frowning to herself*

Elena: *her hand tucked in his, she smiles brightly* Almost there

Logi: "I know!"
He moves slightly closer to Elena.

Elena: *whispers* Careful *she has to contain her joy to avoid sparking*

Logi nods.
"Oh... Yeah... Sorry."
Logi blushes and moves away slightly.

Elena: *smiles up at him, feeling her emotions swell within her*

Logi is glad to be around Elena, especially with the circumstances. Though he can't help but wish that they were back to where it wouldn't matter that their powers were elite.

Edward keeps looking up to the ceiling, deciding that he'll stay away from Kailani.
