The Hunger Games

(( EVERYONE MUST GET THEIR CHARACTERS TO THE REAPING NOW!!! ))

((Doesn't it go in order of the districts, from 1 to 12?))

(( yeah. But I still suggest having your characters go there. ))

District 2 gathers for the reaping. Adakite looks over the faces of the others, wondering who will be chosen. She had entered her name 16 times to help provide for her family.

(( district two is one of the richer districts. Plus people actually volunteer there. That's probably unlikely. ))

((Yeah, but she entered her name a lot to help because she has a large family.))

River sobs with her sister as they make their way to the reaping. If theres any chance of her being reaped, it's this year. Being 18 has raised her chances a lot. She doesn't want to do this. She doesn't want to leave her sister.

Jewel has been training for this day his entire life. All he has to do is be the first guy to volunteer. Here, that might be an issue. He strides up to the front of his group. He's only fifteen, but he can't wait to get out there.

Mink picks up the smallest lamb and drapes it over her shoulders, praying that she doesn't get called in the reaping. She wants to spend the rest of her years tending to her sheep. A lonely tear rolls down her cheek as she arrives at the courtyard where the reaping will take place.

Kellen scrubs his coal-dusted face, hoping to get his skin back to the tan color it was before work. He knows the reaping is a big deal, but he definitely doesn't want to go. His family is starving though, and he had to buy grain. The likelihood of him being chosen is almost 100 percent. His mother told him to look his best--she knows he will most likely be taken too. He gets dressed before entering the main room. He quickly kisses his mother goodbye, nods his head towards his father, and brings his young siblings to him for a hug. The triplets are too young for the reaping, so all of it falls to Kellen. He slowly lets them go before whisking out the door and into the registration line.

Cai stands beside his brother. He looks down at him, hoping neither of them will be chosen. He thinks of his mother and knows that the reaping will not be any good for her illness. He wishes he were home to take care of her.

Blaze stands by one of her friends. She looks over to where the boys are and catches Melaka's eye. They've been friends all their lives and he gives her an encouraging smile.

Ajax Combes through his messy red hair. With hair so bright he always stands out in a crowd. Walking to the front door he meets his mother and gives her a big hug as she weeps. The registration line is long, but not long enough for Ajax.

Finch takes one last whiff of the trees as she walks into view of the square where the reaping is taking place. She knows she could be chosen, but she refuses to shed any tears. She is the only child in her family and the thought of loosing he has made her mother just sick with anxiety. She has to stay strong.

Lila counts on her fingers how many times her name has been entered. She would be astonished if she did escape being chosen. With no father, her mother will be left alone with Lila's two small sisters if she dies. Fear grips her heart like ice as she steps up to the registration table.

Arturo, the man of the family. He prepares himself to be chosen, because there aren't that many children in district 6. Registration goes by quickly and the children are left standing in the square as two specific ones await their fate

Alon leaves the woods for what he thinks may be the final time. He looks back, 16 years of memories flashing before his eyes. He walks to the reaping and stands in the middle of the crowd.

Kai walks away from the ocean, and his home. Even though he only put his name in a couple times, he has a sickening feeling he's going to get picked as he stands in the square.

Elysia walks to the reaping, her heart sinking. She had to put her name in multiple times, just to get food. If she's reaped then she knows she may survive, but she doesn't think she will.

Tesla walks to the middle of the district, looking at the train that came in from the Capitol. It's an engineering marvel and he can't help staring in awe. He knows that he may very well see the inside very soon, and he knows the probability is not in his favor.

Jewel spots Amethyst, a pretty girl his age. He walks over to her, head held high. "Hey, Amethyst. Are you planning to volunteer this year?"

River watches everyone, tears still streaming down her face. She's had to separate from her sister already, the age groups separated. She continues to glance over at her, as if keeping an eye on her will keep her safe.

Mink quietly registers before slipping into her group, the lamb still on her shoulders, as if it's her link to life.

Kellen remains strong, no tears come from his eyes. He lets them take his blood before making his way to his group. He sees Tuli near and smiles at her. He knows her. Sort of.

*all my characters are in the reaping squares, waiting*

Hazel: *stands at the Districs 7 reaping, her face to the ground*

Barric: *his expression, emotionless. He walks up with the others for the District 9 reaping*

Eden: *put his name in hundreds of times this year, planning on volunteering anyway. At least his family would have food*

Genicon: arrives (he closes his eyes and prays)

Tuli: arrives (stuff)

Vete: arrives (waits)

Amethyst: arrives (her excitement shows)

((Oh oops i thought amethyst was already there. I'll redo that. XD))

Jewel sees Amethyst arrive, the pretty girl he's always admired. He strides over to her, head held high. "Hey, Amethyst. You planning on volunteering this year?"

Amethyst: I doubt I'll have to... I entered my name a number of times already... *smiles*

Jewel sticks his bottom lip out a little. "Oh, thats a good idea...I should've done that..."

Amethyst: *laughs melodically* just make sure to volunteer first...

He pulls his lip back in. "I definitely intend to." He is grinning, hoping he'll be put in with her. He gets along with her so maybe they could have an alliance.

Amethyst: but if you do come I will eventually have to kill you... *she smiles teasingly*

Melaka shifts anxiously from one foot to the other, wanting to get the reaping over with.

Lila looks through the small crowd in the square and sees Arturo standing near the back of all the boys. He is the tallest of all those his age. They talk sometimes but they aren't really close. He catches her glance and gives her a nervous nod hello.

((Lol... So they are kinda friends but they look forward to killing each other? Hmm... I find this hard to comprehend))
