Re: MBTI Thread
Also Se is the istp's auxiliary function. Not primary. They Share a Ti primary function with intp.

Re: MBTI Thread
Actually I'm getting my terminology mixed up. Any way
Intp=Ti Ne Si Fe
Istp=Ti Se Ni Fe
As you can see a lot of the confusion is because both share simpler strengths and weaknesses. But Ne in intp's is used to take in general information/ambiance/ideas while Se in istp's is used to take in sensory input touch/impact/smell/sight.
The intp's Si function let's them have a kind of logical feedback loop, letting them think about the same thing processing it over and over and over and over and over again for days weeks months and even years.
Istp's Ni function allows them to find the practical applications of the knowledge they have and utilize it.

Re: MBTI Thread
Also I just read those descriptions and they are mostly just massive ego strokes with no actual analysis in them.

Gee, thanks... I simply state facts, appealing to the "cold reason I hold above all things" -_-Sandstriker wrote:Feelings aren't always correct. I am aware of this, though I think I may never understand it... -_-£China'sAllieCat£ wrote:Cold reason and facts are simply stating truth... It does have it's drawbacks when it comes to human interaction.... It's also an INTJ thing...

Re: MBTI Thread
To a degree, it is a T thing. More so with TJ, and even more with NTJ... INTJs are.... hopeless when it comes to understanding why one would hold on to an idea even after it has been refuted by reason. Which blows up in their face daily. To be able to understand social customs but not be able to practice them is, in fact, a total pain

Re: MBTI Thread
Question: How do all of you "see" your thoughts as you think them. What is the experience like? I've discussed this elsewhere on the internets and I've gotten several answers. For example when some people here a word(let's say apple) they see a mental picture of an apple, others see multiple sensory inputs relating to that thing(e.g. A crunch, the sound of the crunch, red) others see in text the word "Apple" while some hear the word. Some even have a details model of the apple, some people just get the "concept" of an apple. All people relate these things to memory it seams. What about you lot?
