Diem: ok... *he clumsily stands and then waits for her to lead*

Veronica: *runs to the river and gets in... The water boils and steams for a moment when she jumps in and she then climbs out and sits down on the bank... She looks down and mumbles..* what is wrong with me....

Zeb: I love you more... *he kisses her tenderly*

Shyrii: but Lucas! My wings!

Lucas: "Uh..... Oh! I have an idea..."
A shadow pushes Shyrii's wings down to her back, flatting them out on her back, making them barely noticeable.

Zach hovers over the river, trying to go past before stopping when he sees Veronica. He floats down off to the side of the river and comes back into view.

Shyrii: *relaxes... She rests her head on his chest and he can see a few tears slipping down her cheeks*

Lucas keeps running, trying to remember where Zeb works.

((A hospital.... A building with a red cross painted on it...))

Veronica: *her hair is soaked... She sighs and still sits looking down at her reflection*

Zack moves closer.
"Hello?"

Lucas sees the building and runs in.

((Just make up a name))

Veronica: *spins looking like a frightened doe... She looks up at him* y..yes?

Zack: "Uh.... Sorry for almost running into you..."

Lucas enters and checks into the hospital, attempting to get Zeb to help with the problem.

Veronica: y..you almost ran into me? Im... I'm actually kinda glad... For a moment I thought I was crazy... I mean... I thought that no one was there because... I... I think you disappeared...

Zack: "Uh.... No... I just ran away... Sorry..."

Veronica: *turns red* oh uhm... Sorry... It... It was my fault tho... I... I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going...

Zack looks to the ground.
"To be honest, I wasn't either...."

Veronica: *suddenly a riverboat blows it's horn and Veronica is startled... The grass she is near and her clothes burst into flame as she loses her balance and falls over back into the water... She surfaces almost instantly and she looks up realizing that he must know that she is a mutant... She starts to take off expecting him to attack or call the cops*

Nurse: *takes them to one of the emergency areas* ok... In going to take your vitals and then we will check your wound...

Lucas nods as Shyrii is debriefed.

Zack vanishes again out of fear.

Veronica: *glances over her shoulder expecting to be pursued but stops when she sees no one is there... She looks around and then cautiously exits the water.... She sits down now thinking she has completely gone crazy...*

Nurse: *quickly takes her temperature then is about to take her pulse*

Zack appears again.
"S-sorry.... I didn't mean to uh.... Run... Again."

Lucas waits.

Veronica: *stares at him* y...you.. Didn't run...

((Uh... Shyrii.... Bird like heart.... Not good if pulse taken...))

Zack: ".... Yes i did."

Lucas does not know this, but does hope that Zeb is working today and will come over here quickly.

Nurse: *hears someone screaming in the next room and runs to help the nurses control the crazed patient...*

A doctor: *enters* ok... Let's see what is wrong...

Zeb: *with avet... He is currently indisposed*

Veronica: *looks confused* I.... Uhm.... But... But you... *her face turns red... She is obviously confused nervous and embarrassed*

Zack: "I ran away. That's it."

Lucas: *doesn't know that*

Veronica: t..then why did you come back? Are... Are you here to turn me in?

Zack: "N-no.... I'm just really skittish...."

Veronica: s..so you don't plan on turning me in for bursting into flames?

Zack shakes his head.
"No.........."
