I just got the "concept" of an apple... My thoughts are.... odd and hard to describe. Like, they don't really have a shape to them. They are more like continuous strands of data that get woven together and connected to other strands that were previously unrelated, forming collections and patterns. Some strands belong in more that one place, but they're never duplicated, just stretched until they reach. Does that make any sense at all or do i just sound like I need to knit a sweater?Anon#12370 wrote:Question: How do all of you "see" your thoughts as you think them. What is the experience like? I've discussed this elsewhere on the internets and I've gotten several answers. For example when some people here a word(let's say apple) they see a mental picture of an apple, others see multiple sensory inputs relating to that thing(e.g. A crunch, the sound of the crunch, red) others see in text the word "Apple" while some hear the word. Some even have a details model of the apple, some people just get the "concept" of an apple. All people relate these things to memory it seams. What about you lot?
Oh, and I don't really "picture" something unless I'm explicitly trying to.
